Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress who is best famous for her performances on TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut she has displayed her range in acting performing outstandingly in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. In 2005, she was noticed initially for her role as Anna as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 Her role in the biographical movie All the Way as the Women's Right activists Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to the attention of the world at large. Hind received praise by critics for her portrayal as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show has been renewed for a new season, thanks to 20th Century Fox Television. Recently Hind has wrapped filming for his Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters to be scheduled to release mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj, who is an Army scientist who died on the 18th of March in 2017, as well as her mother Vrinda are both domestic helpers. Aditya is her elder brother and a merchant naval engineer. Bachchan's brother co-produced and co-wrote the script for Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Bachchan attended Arya Vidya Mandir High School in Mumbai the city where her family relocated. Jai Hind College in Mumbai was where she completed her middle schooling over one year before enrolment into D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she got a 95% mark on the H.S.C. exams. The actress's career was off on the right foot with her highly praised performances for her in Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Her heartbreaking portrayal of Paro, the lover who was duped by her the set of Devdas (2002) which was one of the best-known Bollywood films at the time and first shown at the Cannes Film Festival cemented her as the Queen of Bollywood. She received praise for the role she played in Chokher Bali (2003) which was a dramatic drama based upon RabindranathTagore's book. The same year, she was appointed as the first Indian actress on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan was first seen in Gurinderchadha's Bride and Prejudice, a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Her star-power and elegance were brought to the first major English-language feature film. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood with her hit production Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story in English. She was married to Abhishek Bachchan, co-star, who is the father of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most prominent individuals together.
