Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born November 18, 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix showed a flair in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her ability to sprint while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within 10 weeks of her first tryout she came in second place in the 200 meter event during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. After that, she went to at the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world for the 200m. She won the title in 2007. won the title in front of her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed within the top three athletes at her particular events.
