Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was apparent from the time she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her initial attempt, she was second in the 200 meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. She then attended an institution called the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in Athens Greece. Felix set a Junior World Record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. Felix became the world's youngest winner in the 200m in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed within the top three throughout her races at the Olympics that took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
